The education of youth and adults is performed through regular and organized courses of foreign languages and computer science education. Vocational training, secondary education and requalification are organized in cooperation with the related institutions in Zadar and other major centers.

Realization and promotion of multicultural, national and intercultural values. Up to ten guest theater performances and several performances by local amateur cultural associations are organized annually. There are also several concerts of classical and folk music with local and guest performers, and during the tourist season several concerts of classical music.

During the tourist season, in cooperation with the Tourist Board, the city government and cultural associations, a special cultural and entertainment program is organized, so that some cultural and entertainment events take place every day.

Films are shown in the cinema throughout the year, and from 2005 during the summer the films are shown in the Open Air Cinema.

During the summer season, the City Gallery on the Coast of Petar Krešimir IV is always open, where paintings by our and foreign renowned artists are exhibited..

Library-reading and information activity. Our library has about 30,000 books. It is available and interesting to every citizen and tourist, because they can borrow almost all modern and current books, and get all the necessary information in the reading room through the daily and weekly press and the Internet line.
