The City of Biograd seeks to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Law on the Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of the Public Sector Bodies of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette 17/19; hereinafter: Law ) whereby the Directive (EU) 2016/2012 of the European Parliament and Council of October 26th 2016 on the accessibility of public sector bodies' websites and mobile applications (OG L 327, December 2nd .2016) is transposed.The present Accessibility Statement is applied to the network headquarters of the City of Biograd na Moru at address https://www.biogradnamoru.hr/

Degree of compliance

Disproportionate burden

All discrepancies stated under point a) the City of Biograd temporarily invokes an exception due to the disproportionate burden in terms of Article 8 of the Law.

In line with Article 3 of the Law, PDF database that have been issued since September 23, 2018 , the City of Biograd qualifies as archives and these are exempt from the application of the Law.

Technical limits

The technical limits of the present architecture system enable achieving full harmonization of the City of Biograd network headquarters with the Law on Accessibility, which is manifested in the difficult movement of people with disabilities through the network headquarters due to the complexity of the pages and subpages, the limited number of possible search methods and complex procedures for entering materials.

Raising the level of accessibility

Taking into consideration that it is not possible to upgrade the present system to the extent that the stated shortcomings would be corrected, the City of Biograd will start building a new network headquarters https://www.biogradnamoru.hr/ as soon as necessary conditions are ensured, and all according to recommendations for advancing system accessibility with the aim of achieving full harmonization with the Law on Accessibility of Network Pages and program Solutions for mobile devices of public sector bodies.

The present statement was drawn up on July 24, 2020 according to the Template of the Accessibility Statement, which is in line with the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and Council on the accessibility of public sector bodies' websites and mobile applications established by the Implementing Decision of the Commission (EU) 2018/1523.

The assessment of compliance with accessibility requirements is the result of the self-assessment of the City of Biograd.

The statement was reviewed for the last time on August 10, 2020.

The City of Biograd will regularly revise this statement to eliminate the reasons for which certain contents were inaccessible.
